Tracy Lewis is a writer, educator, consultant and dynamic professional development workshop leader. She has co-authored both 1-2-3 Magic for Kids and the 1-2-3 Magic Workbook, with Dr. Thomas Phelan, creator of the popular, million-plus selling 1-2-3 Magic parenting program. She has also written extensively for regional parenting magazines.
Tracy has been an elementary school teacher, preschool director, parent educator and instructional designer and possesses a psychology degree from Elon University. She has appeared on ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox affiliates nationwide, speaking on everything from split family parenting to parenting in the down economy to surviving your child's toddlerhood! She is also the mother of a teen and a preteen.
In addition to her professional and educational qualifications, Tracy has been there! In fact, she's still there!
She has climbed up into the top level of a fast food chain's indoor playground equipment, while seven months pregnant, because her two year old refused to exit without her.
She has been so exhausted that she has put two diapers on a baby at once.
She has at one time or another given her children popcorn for dinner, using the justification that it grows in a field and is, therefore, a vegetable.
